(1) The term of the certificates as per Clause (1), (2) and (3) of Section 7 shall be 1 year and the term may be extended for a maximum of 120 days. However, in the case of Sea Ordinance certificate, such period can be extended for a maximum of 150 days.
(2) If a vessel is damaged and its ability to sail is adversely affected, all certificates obtained for that vessel in accordance with section 7 shall be invalid.
(3) The certificate of the international load line (load line) will be invalid after the deadline specified in the certificate has been paid. However, such deadline shall not be set for more than 5 years from the date of issue.
(4) The certificate of exemption shall not be valid for more than the period for which it is issued.
